We’re Keith and Catherine – co-founders, business partners, and proud Scots with a lifelong love for the wild, rugged beauty of Scotland.

We met through local connections, and while some might have seen us as an unlikely duo, we quickly discovered we make a brilliant team. Keith is the heart of our tours—fun, chatty, and effortlessly engaging. He’s the one who remembers every detail, goes the extra mile (sometimes quite literally!), and knows exactly how to put people at ease while sparking excitement for the day ahead. With his natural gift for storytelling, he loves nothing more than helping visitors fall in love with Scotland—just as we have.

Catherine is the planner of the pair. She thrives on getting to know our guests before their trip, discovering what excites them, and crafting itineraries that go above and beyond expectations. She takes care of the behind-the-scenes details, making sure every element is seamless before handing the baton to Keith, who brings it all to life out on the road.

Together, we created this company not just to run tours, but to share Scotland the way we see it—raw, beautiful, full of charm, and always full of surprises. This country has shaped who we are, and now we have the privilege of sharing it with others in a personal, meaningful way.

My pals and I spent our days building treehouses, playing in the woods, fishing, and exploring every corner of the great outdoors. We didn’t have much, but we had everything that mattered—freedom, imagination, and nature right on our doorstep. Those days shaped who I am: someone who loves life, people, and the wild beauty of the world, especially Scotland, around us.

My Dad and older brothers introduced me to camping and exploring the hills and Highlands of Scotland – a passion that I still have and which gives me that real sense of familiarity and family times.

Today with my wife, two children and two dogs, we thoroughly enjoy our time “up North” in our wee caravan on the outskirts of Aviemore. It’s a great place to go to blow away the cobwebs!

I was born in 1972 in a small Scottish mining village called Oakley, nestled in Fife. I was the youngest of ten—five sisters, four brothers, then me. My dad was a miner, and my mum had the full-time job of raising us all— With having only 2 children now myself, I often wonder how she managed 10 of us!

Oakley may not be very well known, but just three miles away lies the picturesque village of Culross, perched on the edge of the Firth of Forth. You might know it as a filming location for Outlander—a place steeped in history and charm. Between Oakley and Culross stretched fields, forests, and lochs, our childhood playground.

Experience Scotland in the most meaningful way

I originally studied to become a teacher at university, and that was the path I fully intended to follow. But after taking a break from the classroom, I unexpectedly found myself working in Scottish tourism—and I’ve never looked back. It just clicked. I realised how passionate I was about sharing this country with others and helping them experience Scotland in the most meaningful way. I believe that private, bespoke tours are the best way to truly experience Scotland—at your own pace, with your own interests in mind, and with someone who knows the land like the back of their hand.

I was born and raised in Scotland, and I’ve lived here my whole life. Growing up, I don’t think I realised how lucky I was to have this incredible country right on my doorstep. Every year, my family would take me camping in the Highlands, and I was constantly being dragged (willingly, I should add!) off on some kind of outdoor adventure. I climbed my first Munro when I was just nine years old—if you’re not familiar, a Munro is a Scottish mountain over 3,000 feet. There are 282 of them dotted across the country, and tackling one is a rite of passage for many Scots.
